Movie and Buka Puasa 2009
For the two years, we held buka puasa events with orphans at the Islamic Arts Museum restaurant. While that was fun, this year we decided to try something entirely new. We decided to book the whole theater for Disney/Pixar's Up! and with buka puasa at the adjoining Cititel Hotel.

Durian Binge
It's durian season, and we're not going to miss it. We organised a little makan-makan with MASkargo Corporate Affairs team at a roadside stall in Sepang. So we have about 20 people, whole baskets of durians, rambutans and mangosteens and loads of refreshing coconut juice to wash it all down.

3 full baskets of this for 20 people. Durian overload!

Fun at the Bowling Alley
Two of our team members share their birthdays in January, and we though of setting up something different for the celebrations. In addition to the usual birthday cakes and snacks, we had a bowling tournament at Ampang Superbowl in Berjaya Times Square, taking the whole Friday afternoon off. It was a great way to have fun, and at the same time help bring the team closer to each other.

Live blogging for MASkargo
To compliment our client MASkargo as the official host of the Air Cargo Forum 2008 in Kuala Lumpur, we proposed, planned and executed a live blog covering this prestigious event. Believed to be the first for the air cargo industry, the ACF 08 Live Blog features content updates on what is going on at the event on an hourly basis.

Closing the Sale
Two of our team members, Yusrin and Azhar will be attending the "Art of Closing Sales" at the Summit USJ Hotel from 2nd - 3rd December 2008. Hopefully this will spur the team towards getting more business in and expanding our list of corporate clients.

Buka Puasa with guests from Rumah Tunas Harapan
For the 2nd time running, we had the privilege of hosting the buka puasa feast with orphans from the Rumah Tunas Harapan at Muzium Kesenian Islam near Masjid Negara.
It was a fun-filled night as we celebrated with 50 special guest, and was served with an Arabian/middle-eastern style buffet. Everyone mingled around, and shared their experiences with one another. Everyone had fun, and the chocolate cup cakes we brought on was a huge hit with the children.
The evening ended at around 11pm with the Directors dispensing duit raya and small hampers for the children to take home.
