The Problem
Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) needed a complete revamp of their online presence, in line with their new brand direction. The revamp included their own corporate website, and also consolidation of all airports websites managed by MAHB.
MAHB also required end-to-end solutions, covering the online presence, infrastructure and technical support and maintenance.
Our Solution
We implemented a multi-site solution on Drupal platform, consolidation the Corporate and Airports websites into sharing a single codebase but with separate databases. This allows fast patching of the platform’s modules and libraries from our code repository, while maintaining individual website’s database and content to be backed up and stored securely.
We also converted MAHB’s travel magazine called Convergence into an online travel blog, which is also deployed on Drupal platform.
The Airports website also features integration with MAHB’s Flight Information Data System (FIDS) to display arrival and departure information for all international airports.
The end result is a streamlined online presence for MAHB, which also enables the client to manage the content update themselves.
